Diffuse

"Diffuse are the spaces in which my thoughts linger. Thoughts whose contours become blurred. Just as a diffuser refracts light or sound, my thoughts are scattered in an infinite number of directions, which raises the question: is diffusion a waste of time? So should I optimize my thinking or does the diffusion of thoughts turn out to be an enrichment in the end? How pleasant it is not to have to keep the focus, to be able to drift off."

The Cloud

It uses water in tiny droplets to create a cloud that keeps changing over time. When you look at it, it appears static at first. Over time you notice its change. On the one hand, it represents a space in which thoughts can linger. On the other hand, this sculpture plays with opposites, such as: Liquid and gaseous. Blurred and clear. Heavy and light. Permanent and ephemeral.

Numbers

We are constantly aware of numbers in our environment. Sometimes consciously, but mostly unconsciously. If there are three apples on the table, we know immediately that there are three, we don't even have to count. This works very well with small numbers, but the higher the number increases, the more blurred our perception of numbers becomes. The following works deal with this blurred perception. This perception is similar to the state of mind in which our thoughts often dwell. Not tangible and clearly recognizable, blurred and diffuse.
